Step 1: Cost Calculation

TTO Sea Freight Express Parcel Route

  1. Shipping Fee:
       NTD 260 per 1 kg
       (Includes delivery to coastal provinces in mainland China. Weight under 1 kg is calculated as 1 kg.)
       (Charge is based on whichever is greater—actual weight or volumetric weight: L x W x H / 5000)

  2. Parcel Size Limit:
       Single side must be within 45cm, total of all three dimensions within 100cm,
       Weight limit is 5kg. (For items over 5kg, please split into separate boxes or request a separate quotation)

  3. Customs Clearance Location:
       Usually in Xiamen, estimated clearance time: 6 to 15 days

  4. Loss Insurance:
       5% of declared value (maximum coverage: TWD 10,000)


Step 2: Shipment Process (Trackable via Red Sea official website)

  1. Provide the following:
       Item name / Quantity / Packed weight / Dimensions (cm) / Item photos

  2. After customer service confirms eligibility, please send the parcel to:

  1. Once your parcel arrives at the Taipei TPE warehouse, it will be assigned to your member number.
       Please label the outer box with your RS membership number

  2. Fill in “Create New Shipment” to generate a Red Sea tracking number

  3. After warehouse sorting and packing, the shipping fee will be calculated

  4. Make payment in the “I Want to Pay” section

  5. Shipment will be dispatched via sea freight to Xiamen, China for customs clearance

  6. Upon clearance, it will be delivered by local courier to the destination

  7. Processing Time: Approximately 6–15 days after warehouse dispatch (trackable online)
       Cut-off Day: Monday | Dispatch Day: Tuesday

Compensation Policy for Customs and Shipment Loss

  1. Mainland China Agent Notice:
       If the parcel is detained during customs clearance in China and cannot be delivered for any reason, compensation will be limited to 1x shipping fee.

  2. For customers who opted for parcel loss insurance:
       Full compensation up to the insured value (max TWD 10,000). Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  3. Partial loss of parcel contents:
       Compensation is based on the weight percentage lost.
       The recipient must obtain a claim certificate from the courier. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  4. Without parcel loss insurance:
       Compensation is up to 2x the shipping fee, capped at TWD 3,000 (not including labor or material costs).

  5. No compensation available if:
       - The parcel is detained during inspection by Chinese customs
       - Lost during customs transfer and not yet handed to our China customs clearance agent

  6. Suggestion:
       - Keep parcel value within TWD 2,000 for safer transport
       - If higher, consider purchasing full parcel loss insurance (up to TWD 10,000)
       - For parcels valued over TWD 10,000, please separate into multiple packages
       - Maximum claim value is TWD 10,000—no additional compensation will be accepted

  7. Due to the difficulty in cross-strait documentation, customers must accept the possibility that no official claim documents can be provided—only agent statements may be available.

  8. If additional fees are incurred (e.g. customs inspection, duties, fines, storage, or labor), the sender must bear all costs.

  9. Important Reminder:
       This route does not support expedited shipping.
       Delays may occur. If you cannot accept delays, please do not use this service.

   - If delivery to Chinese customs has not occurred within 30 days after dispatch, we will arrange return and provide a full refund of the shipping fee. No further compensation will be provided.
   - If the parcel is already en route to Chinese customs, returns will not be accepted.
